A major part of any grounds maintenance contract is controlling weeds which grow in shrubs, hedging, lawn space, between paving, and in just about every area you can imagine.

COLEMAN adopts a number of approaches to the control of weeds depending on the environment/area, the type of weed, and the type of surface upon which the weed is growing.

In most aspects of weed control, a manual approach is appropriate, with our grounds crews removing weeds to maintain the appearance of the general grounds. In certain cases, suitable sprays are used as a preventative method on surfaces such as roadways, pathways, and general paving. Spraying is conducted in a manner to satisfy all health and safety regulations and to minimise any inconvenience to the site.

All weeds and general waste are removed from the site. Costs for weed control are usually included within a general grounds care contract.
